Motorcycle rider dies in traffic accident

By BBN Staff: A man lost his life this morning in a road traffic accident.

According to police, Joshua Briceno of Eldridgeville, Toledo was driving his motorcycle on the Southern Highway.

Upon reaching near mile 3 and 4, Briceno reportedly crashed into the back of a Ford Ranger pickup and was flung off the cycle.

The driver of the Ford Ranger pickup said that he had stopped on the side of the road when he suddenly heard the noise and saw that Briceno had crashed into the back of his vehicle.

Briceno sustained major head injuries and died shortly after.

Investigations are ongoing.
