Weather: A day to love – weather-wise too

The National Meteorological Service says you’ll love today’s weather, no matter whom you’re spending this Sunday with.

Generally fair weather prevails, supporting mostly sunny skies. Tonight, skies will be partly cloudy with isolated showers – so that candlelight dinner under the stars can proceed.

Winds are light and variable then later from the east to southeast at 5 to 15 knots and sea state is slight.

High temperatures are 89 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 94 inland and 85 in the hills. Tonight, temperatures fall to 78 degrees Fahrenheit on the coast, 68 inland and 64 in the hills.

Tides are low at 6:09 a.m. and 6:03 p.m. and high at 11:55 am and 11:58 p.m.

The Sun rose at 6:19 a.m. and will set at 5:54 p.m.

Fair weather continues through Monday except for some night showers.
