Eric Heusner wins San Ignacio & Santa Elena’s Sunday cycling race

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Eric Heusner won Sunday’s 45.7 miles race in San Ignacio & Santa Elena in 1 hour and 57 minutes.

The race organized by Shannon Black went 12 laps on a 3.8-mile course starting by Matus Autoparts in Santa Elena to the intersection near Sacred Heart College in San Ignacio and back to Matus Autoparts, according to Zahir Figueroa.

Carlton Robinson finished in second position ahead of Derrick Chavarria who was third.

Byron Pope took the 4th spot and Jyven Gonzalez the 5th.

Derrick Chavarria won the Junior Category. Daniel Williams Jr. was second and Renan Codd 3rd.
