Man found stabbed to death in Santa Elena Town

By Aaron Humes: The body of a man found on Saturday morning in Santa Elena Town, Cayo District has been identified as Cristo Rey resident William Alexander Thompson, 50.

Thompson, a maintenance worker, was last seen on Friday night around 9:30 apparently heading home on the Cristo Rey Road.

His body was discovered lying face down under some palm trees near a bench on the roadside some hours later. He had sustained multiple stab wounds to the abdomen.

A post-mortem examination is scheduled and police investigation continues.
