Breaking: Businesswoman charged for fatal traffic accident outside Belmopan

By BBN Staff: Today, police have formally charged a Belmopan businesswoman for the death of Victor Martin Jr.

That woman is 40-year-old Arlie Ayala who has been charged with (i) Manslaughter by Negligence (ii) Causing Death by careless conduct (iii) Drove Motor vehicle without Due Care and Attention (iv) Failing to give way when changing direction.

The accident occurred yesterday on the George Price Highway just outside of Belmopan City.

Martin who was riding a motorcycle crashed into Ayala’s vehicle and was flung some distance from the impact point, sustaining severe injuries and causing his motorcycle to burst into flames.
