Man accused with sodomizing 12-year-old boy on his way to being officially charged

By BBN Staff: Police have confirmed that the man accused of sodomizing a 12-year-old boy during a tutoring class is on his way to being formally charged.

The suspect, who forcibly had anal sex with the male minor in the Belama Phase 4 area of Belize City is being transferred from the Dangriga police station.

Breaking Belize News understands that some media houses have already published the suspects name and photograph, which is a violation of the laws of Belize and the suspect’s constitutional right to a fair trial.

BBN will be following up once the suspect has been officially charged.
