Cayo police find over 35 pounds of weed

By BBN Staff: Cayo police made a huge marijuana find of over 35 pounds of the sticky green substance today.

Officers conducting operations on the outskirts of Belmopan City searched a bushy area where they found a crocus sack containing 20 parcels of marijuana.

The parcels were taken and weighed and found to be 16,116.137 grams or (35.56 pounds).

No one was in the area at the time and as a subsequent result, the suspected cannabis was sealed, labeled, and deposited as found property.
