Almost 600 males and more than 600 females are infected with COVID-19 right now

By Benjamin Flowers: The latest COVID-19 data produced by the Ministry of Health and Wellness (MOHW) shows that almost 600 males and more than 600 females are currently infected with COVID-19.

The MOHW’s data for active COVID-19 infections show a total of 596 infected males and 633 females, for a total of 1,229 active infections countrywide.

Health authorities also have an additional 276 suspected cases under investigation.

There are 24 patients receiving care in standard COVID-19 units across the country, and eight patients receiving critical care in an intensive care unit (ICU).

There were 174 new recoveries from COVID-19 bringing the national total for recoveries up to 15,335.

The national recovery rate has also been adjusted to 90.5.
