Vaccinations continuing in Belize City, Ladyville, San Pedro, Caye Caulker

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Vaccination is ongoing daily in the Belize District in Belize City, Ladyville, San Pedro, and Caye Caulker.

The Central Health Region in the Ministry of Health said its vaccination drive continues on Thursday and Friday at Matron Roberts Polyclinic, the Swift Hall, and Port Loyola Health Center in Belize City from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Central Health Region has vaccinations daily as well from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on both days.

On Saturday, vaccination will continue in Belize City at the Central Health Region and at the Matron Roberts Polyclinic from 8 a.m. to 12 noon.

The Central Health Region is located behind the old Bliss Nursing Center in the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital compound (access between Social Security Board and the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital off Princess Margret Drive or next to Social Security on St. Joseph St).

In Ladyville, vaccines are being administered at the BDF Price Barracks today Thursday from 9am to 11 a.m. and on Thursday and Friday at the Ladyville Health Center from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The Ministry of Health said its vaccination drive is continuing on Thursday and Friday at the Caye Caulker Health Center from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

In San Pedro, Ambergris Caye, vaccinations are being administered at the Lions’ Den on Thursday from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. and on Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

“Before you relax, get vax,” says the Ministry of Health and Wellness as it continues encouraging Belizeans to get vaccinated against COVID-19 at any of its vaccination sites countrywide.

The Ministry of Health also said that anyone who already got the first dose, can have the second dose after eight weeks.
