Pregnant woman found dead in San Pedro Town

By Aaron Humes: Police have held one person in connection with the death of a pregnant woman and her child in San Pedro Town on Friday night.

The body of 20-year-old Abrie Tuyul was found on the bathroom floor motionless on Friday evening around 5:30. She was due to give birth in early November being eight months along.

A neighbor said Tuyul’s common-law husband told her that she was dead and had injured herself and she confirmed it for herself moments later.

Police recovered a bent clothes hanger and piece of cloth from the scene.

The common-law has been detained pending a Police investigation.
