By Aaron Humes: The National Meteorological Service forecasts continued cloudy skies, periods of rain and showers or isolated thunderstorms along the coast this morning and inland this afternoon, with activity increasing tonight especially along the coast.
High temperatures today are 82 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 86 degrees inland and 72 degrees in the hills. Tonight it will be 72 degrees along the coast, 68 degrees inland and 63 degrees in the hills.
Winds are from the north to northwest at 5 to 10 knots and sea state is slight to light chop. A small craft caution is in effect for possibly gusty winds and locally rough seas near thunderstorms or heavy showers.
Tides will be high at 7:11 tonight after a low at 1:01 this afternoon. Sunset is at 5:16 this evening and sunrise on Monday will be at 5:57 am.
The extended outlook calls for rain, showers and isolated thunderstorms in coastal and Southern areas on Monday with activity decreasing to affect mainly the coast and offshore on Monday night.
