By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Apart from the usual vaccinating sites at health centers, the Central Health Region is sending teams to vaccinate people in their own workplaces.
Today, Monday, December 6, vaccinating teams are visiting Mirab and Stationery House “where their staffs are busy”. Mirab is being visited at 10:30 am and while Stationery House is being visited at 1:30 pm.
Additionally, the vaccinating staff is at the Crooked Tree Health Center from 9:30 am to 3:00 pm.
Vaccinations are also being administered, as per usual, at the Central Health Region, Matron Roberts Polyclinic, the Swift Hall, and the Port Loyola Health Center in Belize City, from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm.
The Central Health Region is located behind the old Bliss Nursing Center in the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital compound (access between Social Security Board and the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital off Princess Margret Drive or next to Social Security on St Joseph St).
In Ladyville, vaccinations are being done at the Ladyville Health Center from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm.
In San Pedro, vaccinations are being administered at the San Pedro Lions Den from 1:30 pm to 3 pm.
In Caye Caulker, vaccinations will be done at the Caye Caulker Health Center from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm.
The Ministry of Health and Wellness advises Belizeans 12 years and up to get vaccinated against COVID-19 at any of its vaccination sites countrywide.
