Mahogany Heights man with a long rap sheet of drug convictions accused of burglary

By BBN Staff: A 42-year-old man from Mahogany Heights is out on bail after being charged with a single count of burglary.

Albert Elroy Waller appeared unrepresented in the Belize City Magistrate’s Court where he pleaded not guilty to the charge.

It is alleged that on Thursday, January 20, he broke into a house in Mahogany Heights and damaged two doors in the process.

There was no objection to bail and he was granted bail in the sum of $5,000 plus one surety of the same, which he managed to meet.

He is due back in court on March 17.

Waller was in court as recently as 21 December 2021, where he pleaded guilty to drug trafficking and was fined $10,000 which he has to pay by May 31 or spend three years in jail. Reports are the December case was his 5th conviction for drug offenses.
