By Aaron Humes: The opening ceremony of the Annual Sprite Live Life Basketball Tournament takes place shortly at the Complex Basketball Court here in Belize City.

Teams from across the City, and the District, including a Police team will participate.

Games begin shortly after the ceremony concludes at 11 a.m. with six on the opening day’s schedule.

The tournament is intended to bring together communities, some of whom may be feuding, to pursue unity through a shared love of the sport.
