David Cruz found guilty of the 2019 murder of Timroy Neal

By Benjamin Flowers: Three years after 28-year-old Timroy Neal was gunned down in Roaring Creek, the man believed to be responsible, David Cruz has been found guilty of murder.

The Belize Police Department reported today that Cruz, a resident of Roaring Creek Village, was found guilty in the Supreme Court before Justice Francis Cumberbatch earlier today.

Cruz’s sentencing hearing has been scheduled for July 28.

On December 12, 2019, Neal was outside of Lucy Entertainment in Roaring Creek when he was ambushed and fatally shot.

The incident happened just across the street from the police station in the village.
