By Aaron Humes: Police have picked up a suspect in a robbery reported Thursday night at Puma Gas Station located corner Fabers Road and George Price Highway.
The station manager said their office was robbed just before 8 p.m. by two men, masked and armed, of cash and a cell phone before they fled in a Nissan Xterra SUV.
Police subsequently recovered the money from where it was stashed in a mechanic shop’s lot a short distance away. The vehicle alleged to have been used was impounded and a suspect identified, as well as the cell phone stolen from the cashier was recovered. Investigations continue.
