Prime Minister departs country on Duty Leave

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Prime Minister John Briceño departed the country on August 25, 2022, on duty leave, his office informed today.

Prime Minister Briceño is scheduled to return to the country on September 5, 2022.

During his absence, Cordel Hyde, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Natural Resources, Petroleum, and Mining, will act as prime minister.
