San Pedro Pirates, Progresso play to 1-1 stalemate in PLB

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The San Pedro Pirates and the visiting Progresso played to a 1-1 stalemate in the Premier League of Belize at Ambergris Stadium in San Pedro.

Eric Roman hit the opener for the islanders in the 45’+1 minute but Progresso responded tying the game through Alden Nuñez in the 86’.

San Pedro move up to 11 points alongside Wagiya, who also drew in Saturday night, and are still in fourth behind Wagiya, who are third due to a better goal differential.

Progresso now totals ten points and is still fifth.
