Prime Minister meet diasporans in Washington D.C.

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: On Sunday, September 26, 2022, a delegation of Belizean officials led by Prime Minister John Briceño met with Belizean diasporans in Washington, D.C.

The event was lively and interactive with presentations and discussions on a wide variety of issues.

The Prime Minister expressed his gratitude for the input and consistent contributions of Belizeans abroad.

“I took the opportunity to recognize their contributions to families at home and national development. We updated the gathering on the achievements of #PlanBelize and discussed concrete ways the Belizean Diaspora can continue to play a role in national development as well as how our foreign offices can continue to assist them,” PM Briceno said.
