By Breaking Belize News Staff: Two employees of Citrus Products of Belize Limited (CPBL) have been detained for questioning after reporting that they had over $20,000 in cash stolen from them.

The CPBL truck driver and his assistant reported to police that around midday they had parked and both left the vehicle to enter a grocery store in Roaring Creek Village.

They said that while inside the store, two men on a motorcycle came and one of them ran up to their vehicle and stole a bag from under the driver’s seat containing around $21,000. The duo then rode off.

Police investigations into the matter are ongoing.
