Police Department hosts basketball tournament championship game today

By Breaking Belize News Staff: The Belize Police Department in association with the Ministry of Home Affairs and Sprite is hosting the championship game of its Youth Basketball Tournament 2022 this morning at the Lopez Mateos Park basketball court in Belize City at 9:30 a.m.

The first game being held is for the 3rd prize trophy between Team Police and the Hattieville Underdogs.

The second game is the championship game between the Hard Rock Boyz and the Complex Titans.

First prize winners will receive a $1,500 cash prize while second place and third place winners will receive $1,200 and $1,000 cash prizes respectively.

Other sponsors of the tournament include the Rotary Club of Belize, the Belize City Council, and the National Sports Council of Belize.

The Police Department is inviting the public to come out to the tournament for a day of fun.
