International News: Ukrainian President says Russian tactics on eastern front “crazy”

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky says that Russian tactics on the eastern front are “crazy”, the BBC reports.

Zelensky says that despite the Ukrainian advance in Kherson, Russian attacks continued since taking the town would be a symbolic victory for Russia.

“This is where the craziness of the Russian command is most evident. Day after day, for months, they are driving people to their deaths there, concentrating the highest level of artillery strikes,” Zelensky said.

Ukrainian officials say that in just 1 day, Russia launched 8 separate attacks on Bakhmut.

But, President Zelensky says that the Ukrainian forces were holding forth and hailed the troops as “heroes”.
