Belize Water Services warns customers about discolored water

By Benjamin Flowers: Belize Water Services (BWS) is advising its customers they may experience discoloration and/or water quality issues after the hurricane.

BWS issued a notice this morning, explaining that crews are conducting water quality tests countrywide, in light of the “all clear” given post-hurricane.

“BWS reminds customers that if you suspect your water to be contaminated, please do not consume,” the company said.

BWS has asked that customers report any discoloration either via the toll free number 0-800-BWS-LEAK or by messaging its social media pages or WhatsApp numbers.
