Caye Caulker gets new health center

By Aaron Humes: The Caye Caulker Health Center was officially inaugurated over the weekend, intended to serve the approximately 5,000 residents of the island community.

The project was a $1.4 million investment through a loan from the Caribbean Development Bank and was implemented by Belize Social Investment Fund.

The Ministry of Health says the health sector is an important part of Plan Belize and the Government continues to put resources into strengthening the health sector, providing accessible and affordable healthcare for all citizens of Belize.
