National Assembly postpones Friday’s meeting of House of Representatives

By Aaron Humes: The National Assembly announced this afternoon that Friday’s meeting of the House of Representatives in Belmopan has been postponed to a further date.

Traditionally, the House and Senate last meet prior to December 15 in the calendar year before a mandatory six-week break covering Christmas and New Year’s. The Cabinet had announced the introduction of new bills and amendments in the Cabinet briefing this morning as well as new loan motions and appropriations to cover hurricane Lisa-related relief.

A new date will be set as soon as possible per the National Assembly office in Belmopan.
