International News: Rescuers continue to search for bus passengers after mudslide in Colombia

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: On Sunday morning, the road leading to Choco in Colombia was destroyed by a landslide.

Authorities have confirmed that atleast 3 people died and many more are still buried.

A bus full of passengers was among the vehicles buried under the mud and rocks, BBC reports.

Rescuers are using heavy equipment in an attempt to reach those buried.

The bus is believed to have had 2 drivers and 25 passengers on board.

Residents are also assisting in the rescue efforts.

Colombian President Gustavo Petro said that 9 people had been rescued and more than 20 were still missing.
