By Breaking Belize News Staff: During his latest court appearance, Police Corporal Elmer Nah, who is charged with a triple murder, erupted into such loud outbursts that he had to be cautioned by the head of the Branch, Alifa Elrington.
Nah, who appeared in court to have his attempted murder charge in relation to Vivian Ramnarace upgraded to murder after her death on January 15, was also charged with keeping unlicensed ammunition.
While at the courthouse Nah began screaming, saying, “Where is the gun? Unu di chance me!”
Elrington reportedly had to quiet him down, telling him that he would be placed in the holding cell area, as he was disturbing other courtrooms that were in session.
Nah would become loud and disorderly again, once he learned that the court ruled his common-law wife, Epifania Caliz, and his brother-in-law police constable, Manuel Caliz, would also stand trial for keeping unlicensed ammunition with respect to 135 rounds of .223 Remington live rounds and four 5.56 caliber live rounds.
They are all due back in court on March 16 in relation to the ammunition offense.
