Digi services down near Burrell Boom

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: On February 17, 2023, Digi issued an advisory informing customers between the Burrell Boom junction on the Philip Goldson Highway and Orange Walk Town that they may be experiencing issues with their DigiNet and DigiTel services.

“Preliminary reports indicate that this service interruption is due to fiber damage caused by a utility pole catching fire in the area,” Digi said.

Digi noted that their technicians are currently assessing the damage and working to restore services as soon as possible.

“We will continue to provide you with timely updates until these services have been fully restored.

We apologize for the inconvenience caused and thank you for your continued support,” Digi noted.
