Belize City man charged for handling stolen gas tank out on bail

By Breaking Belize News Staff: A Belize City man is out on bail after being charged for having a stolen gas tank.

Thirty-six-year-old Martin Faber Jr. appeared in the Belize City Magistrate’s Court on Monday, charged with a single count of handling stolen goods with respect to a 18.9 gallon capacity butane tank valued at $200 found in his possession, that had recently been stolen from his neighbour.

Faber pleaded not guilty and was offered bail in the sum of $500 plus one surety of the same amount which he met.

He is due back in court on April 21, 2023.
