Progresso, San Pedro Pirates draw 0-0 to kick off Premier League of Belize 2nd round

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Progresso played to a scoreless with the San Pedro Pirates at the People’s Stadium in Orange Walk Town in the opening of the second round of the Premier League of Belize’s (PLB) Closing Championship.

Despite their continuous efforts, neither team could shake their opponents’ net so they ceded two points each. Sam Pedro, now with 15 points, lost first place to Verdes, who pounded Internacional 5-0 moving up to 17 points.

Progresso now have 11 points and remain in fifth place.
