Eden Preschool children visit Orange Walk Agriculture Station in Yo Creek

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Eden Preschool children visited the Orange Walk Agriculture Station in Yo Creek on Wednesday, March 8, the Ministry of Agriculture, Food security, and Enterprise (MAFSE) said.

MAFSE explained that Eden Preschool is Chapel Primary School’s preschool.

“The students were excited to visit the Seedling Nursery, Chicken Coops, Incubator Room, Fruit Tree Nursery, Piggery Unit and the Sheep Unit,” MAFSE said.

According to the Agriculture Ministry, the officers at the Yo Creek Station spoke to the students about the importance of agriculture and explained to them how the animals are grown at the station.

“Thanks to Principal Heidy Tejada for taking the initiative and bringing her teeny-weeny charges to learn about agriculture,” MAFSE said.
