Belize Weather: Fair, warm and dry Sunday

By Breaking Belize News Staff: Fair, warm and dry conditions continue according to the National Meteorological Service. Skies today will be mostly sunny and tonight clear to partly cloudy with little or no rainfall expected.

High temperatures reach 88 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; a toasty 96 degrees over some inland areas and 86 degrees in the hills. Temperatures fall tonight to 78 degrees along the coast, 70 degrees inland and 65 degrees in the hills.

Winds are easterly to southeasterly at 10 to 20 knots; seas are running choppy.

Tides are low as of 6:41 this morning and will be again at 7:59 this evening. A high tide occurs at 12:30 this afternoon. The sun sets at 6:02 this evening and rises exactly 12 hours later on Monday morning.

Continuing fair, warm and dry conditions should be expected on Monday, with isolated thunderstorms developing on Monday afternoon mainly over the Maya Mountains.
