Ministry of Infrastructure Development continues work on Northern Entrance to Belize City on Philip Goldson Highway

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Ministry of Infrastructure Development and Housing continues repairing the Northern Entrance to Belize City on the Philip Goldson Highway, an area that has continuously been repaired and subsequently sinks.  

“The work on the Philip Goldson Highway has been proceeding at an incredible pace,” the MIDH said.

The MIDH is sinking construction piles in the affected area with the intent of avoiding a similar situation again.

“We want to ensure that this time that section of road can stand up to heavy traffic and anything climate change throws our way,” the MIDH said.

“We know the inconvenience caused to our drivers so we’re pushing to get it done.”
