BREAKING: Murder charges filed against police officers in death of Alberto Dyandre Chee

By Aaron Humes: According to Police sources, this evening two serving police officers, identified as Esmin Flores and Salomen Cowo, have been charged with murder in the death of Alberto Dyandre Chee, 19, of Orange Walk Town.

Director of Public Prosecution Cheryl-Lynn Vidal directed that the men be charged after personally visiting the crime scene this afternoon and speaking in an official capacity to several key witnesses.

A post-mortem examination on the body of Chee was conducted earlier this afternoon which found the cause of death to be hypovolemic shock due to exsanguination due to internal bleeding due to aorta and liver injuries, firearm-related. That is, the shots fired at him struck his aorta and liver, causing these to bleed out and shut down his organs.

Official confirmation has yet to be provided but police investigators had already indicated that they could find nothing to justify the claims of members of the Quick Response Team that pursued Chee and his friends that they fired upon them first or that they were firing shots in the area to which they, the officers, responded.
