Belize play Nicaragua at 7:00 pm on Wednesday in 2023 Concacaf Women’s U-20 Championship Qualifiers in Managua

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Under-20 Belize Women’s National Team (BWNT) play Nicaragua at 7:00 pm on Wednesday in 2023 Concacaf Women’s U-20 Championship Qualifiers at the Estadio Nacional de Fútbol in Managua.

Belize have lost the first two Group E matches in the championship. Last Saturday, our team fell 13-0 to Costa Rica while Nicaragua beat Guatemala 3-1.

Then on Monday, the BWNT dropped the second match 3-0 to Guatemala while Costa Rica whipped St Lucia 9-0.

Costa Rica lead the group with six points followed by Nicaragua and Guatemala with three. St Lucia and Belize don’t have a point as yet.

The BWNT closes the round robin on Friday, April 21, against St Lucia at 4:00 pm.

The group winners qualify to the 2023 Concacaf Women’s U-20 Championship.
