Ministry of Health & Wellness to hold Wellness Fair in Armenia, Cayo District, on Thursday, April 27

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Ministry of Health and Wellness will be holding a Wellness Fair in Armenia, Cayo District, on Thursday, April 27

The Armenia Wellness Fair will be held at the Health Center in Armenia from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. Armenia is a village which is seven miles outside Belmopan on the Hummingbird Highway.

According to the MOHW, the Wellness Fair will include free HIV testing, free pressure and glucose checks, free pap smear test and woman’s health check, children and adult vaccines will be administered, and they’ll also do height and weight checks.

Additionally, they’ll conduct free doctor consultation and medicines, First Aid support and Mental Health, dental screening and health education, and will provide drug abuse information and child, youth and family health information. They’ll also be providing community police support.

The Armenia Wellness Fair is being conducted in connection with Vaccination Week in the Americas.
