Patrick Faber extends condolences on death of mom and 2 children in fire

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Area Representative for Collet, Patrick Faber has extended condolences to the family and friends of the mother and 2 children that died in a fire this morning.

“I am heartbroken to inform you of the tragic house fire on Antelope Street Extension this morning, which claimed the lives of three of our constituents, a mother and two children.  As Area Representative for Collet, I extend my deepest sympathies to Ms. Elida and her loved ones during this difficult time,” Faber said.

Faber says that his office will work closely with local authorities to ensure that Elida and her family receive the support they need.

Faber says that the tragic fire this morning is the second major fire in the last two days in the same area.

He urged the community to take precautions especially during this hot weather.

“I urge everyone to take fire safety seriously and be vigilant in preventing such tragedies from occurring. Let us come together as a community to support each other during this time of grief,” he added.
