Taiwanese students enroll in Certificate in English as a Second Language at University of Belize

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: The Taiwan Embassy in Belize has extended congratulations to 9 Taiwanese students who enrolled in the Certificate in English as a Second Language (CESL) scholarship program 2024 at the University of Belize.

On January 17, 2024, Taiwan Ambassador Lily Li-Wen Hsu attended the Orientation Ceremony of Certificate in English as a Second Language (CESL) program held by Regional Language Center at University of Belize, and welcomed the students.

“The Embassy is excited to see the record number of nine Taiwanese students coming to Belize to study English and to get to know the beautiful jewel this year,” the Taiwan Embassy noted.

Belize and Taiwan will celebrate the 35th anniversary of Taiwan -Belize diplomatic ties in 2024.

Youth and cultural exchanges continue to strengthen and deepen the friendship between Belize and Taiwan.
