Arthur Hill remanded to prison charged with murdering brother-in-law Levan Aldana

By Breaking Belize News Staff: Arthur Simon Hill, 28, was remanded to the Belize Central Prison on Monday, charged with murdering his own brother-in-law and the father of his niece, Levan Aldana in Biscayne Village.

Hill appeared in court unrepresented and was read a single charge of murder. Due to the nature of the crime, bail was denied and he was remanded to prison until his next court date on April 3.

According to reports, on January 31, Hill invited Aldana over for a drink but sometime that night an altercation led to a stabbing. Aldana returned home banging desperately on the door around 6:30 p.m. When his girlfriend opened the door, Aldana was seen with his guts protruding and bleeding profusely. He told his girlfriend and mother-in-law who stabbed him before he was transported to the hospital ultimately died on the way.
