Man shot in butt at Belize City bar

By Aaron Humes: Police are investigating a shooting incident reported early Sunday morning near 5 Brothers Bar on East Collet Canal, Belize City. 

Following the report, Police visited the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital (KHMH) where 38-year-old Leroy Ramsey, of North Creek, Belize City, was seen suffering from a gunshot wound to the right buttocks. 

Ramsey reported that upon exiting 5 Brothers Bar and walking towards a vehicle parked by the canal side, he heard a loud bang coming from behind him and shortly after felt pain in his buttocks and realized he was shot. He was immediately transported by some civilians to the KHMH for medical attention where he was listed in a stable condition. 

Police investigations continue.
