Belize Weather: Cool and cloudy

By Breaking Belize News Staff: The National Meteorological Service today forecasts cloudy skies with a few showers over most areas and especially the center of the country. Tonight, a few showers will continue over the center and south.

High temperatures peak at 86 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 90 degrees inland and 78 degrees in the hills. Tonight along the coast, temperatures reach 78 degrees; in inland areas, 72 degrees; and in the hills, 64 degrees.

Winds will be northeasterly at 10 to 20 knots and sea state choppy.

Tides are low as of 6:34 this morning. A high tide follows at a quarter to one this afternoon and a low tide at 8 p.m. this evening.

The sun sets at 6:08 this evening and rises at 5:37 Sunday morning.

Skies will be cloudy at times on Sunday morning with showers over the central and southern area of Belize, becoming isolated by afternoon.
