Belize Weather: Fair and fine

By BBN Staff: The National Meteorological Service forecasts sunny skies today with a few cloudy spells and partly cloudy skies tonight. Showers or thunderstorms will be generally isolated except for the north this morning and the south later tonight.

High temperatures will reach 87 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 94 degrees inland and 82 degrees in the hills. The low temperatures tonight are 81 degrees along the coast; 72 degrees inland and 68 degrees in the hills.

Winds are easterly at 10 to 20 knots. The seas will be choppy with waves of three to five feet.

Tides will be high at 9:26 this morning and 10:52 this evening and low at 4:56 this afternoon. Sunset this evening is at 6:27 and sunrise on Friday morning at 5:31.

Skies will be cloudy in spells on Friday with a few showers and thunderstorms mainly over northern and central areas. Activity is expected to decrease later in the day to isolated activity except for the south on Friday night.
