Holy Redeemer Credit Union says nothing was stolen as thieves drilled through the wall in attempted break-in

By Aaron Humes: “Your money is safe and secure” at Holy Redeemer Credit Union Limited, the agency said in a statement following a break-in earlier this morning.

But it was not for lack of trying, as the thieves apparently drilled through the back wall of the main building at Hydes Lane to get into the office.

HRCU reports that while two persons separately entered the main office building on Hydes Lane per surveillance footage, they were scared off by the building alarm.

“Nothing was stolen, everything is intact and the compromised area is being secured…Please do not pay attention to the rumors that are currently in circulation,” the statement advised, adding that offices will be reopened as per normal on Tuesday morning, September 20.

Police, KBH security, and some staff are presently at the scene.
