Mayors Association elect new executive

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: On March 30, 2023, the Belize Mayors Association held its meeting and elected a new executive.

The vision of the association is to enhance the quality of life of people in their Municipalities.

The new executive elected for the year 2023 to 2024 is Mayor Bernard Wagner as the President, Mayor Rigoberto Vellos as the Vice-President, Mayor Sharon Palacio as the Secretary and Mayor Earl Trapp Jr. from the Twin Towns of San Ignacio and Santa Elena as Treasurer.

The San Ignacio and Santa Elena Town Council joined in congratulating the New Executive and Mayor Earl Trapp Jr.
