By BBN Staff: Sylvia Makin, 35, the wife of current Gang Suppression Unit (GSU) Commander, Andres Makin, reported to police last Wednesday that her home in the New Border Road area in Benque Viejo had been shot at.

According to police, Sylvia made the report to police on Wednesday morning, indicating that around 6:20 that morning she went outside on her veranda and found a bullet on the floor.

She made further checks in the surrounding area and saw the zinc of her house with a hole. She assumed that the hole was made by the bullet.

Makin then became  concerned and decided to call the police.

Police also reported that this is the second time Makin has encountered having her residence shot at.

The scene was processed by Scenes of Crime personnel in Benque.
