Police seeking public’s assistance in identifying man killed in traffic accident

By BBN Staff: The Belize Police Department is seeking the assistance of the public in identifying the body of a man who died in a road traffic accident.

The accident occurred around 1:00 a.m. on February 4, 2019.

The person is a male Hispanic person of brown complexion.

He was dressed in a light blue shirt, long black pants and brown slippers.

He appears to be in his 50’s.

He is about 5′ 5″ in height and weighs about 160 lbs.

He was riding a black 24-inch beach cruiser from the direction of San Joaquin village towards Libertad village.

The public can visit the Corozal police station for additional details that can lead to a positive identification.
