Two persons sought for murder in Sandhill

By BBN Staff: Just before 5:00 p.m. last Tuesday Ladyville police were called to the Salt Creek road in the vicinity of Sand Hill village.

When cops arrived they entered the home of Ofelia Hernandez Cruz, where she was seen motionless on her floor with apparent injuries.

Police investigations revealed that earlier that day screams were heard coming from her home.

Police have since detained several persons and are seeking two others who they believe can assist in investigations.

According to Assistant Commissioner of Police, Joseph Myvette, a motive has not yet been established.

However, he says there are unconfirmed reports that a shotgun was stolen from the residence.
