Two Corozal men busted with weed and cocaine

By BBN Staff: Two men from Corozal were detained by police on Monday after they found cannabis and cocaine in the vehicle they were traveling in.

Police reports say that Herman Friesen and Gerardo Ivan Lino were traveling in a grey Chevy pickup truck when police stopped them.

Inside the vehicle, police found 1,132 grams of cannabis and 1.50 grams of cocaine.

A further search of Friesen’s home in Little Belize led to the discovery of an additional 1,696 grams of cannabis and 1.2 grams of cocaine.

 Both men were charged for “possession of controlled drugs with intent to supply to another.”

Friesen was additionally charged for 3 counts of “possession of controlled drugs with intent to supply to another.”
