Belize Weather: Cool as a cucumber

By BBN Staff: The National Meteorological Service forecasts cloudy skies today with some sunny breaks and partly cloudy to cloudy skies tonight.

Showers or light rain will develop mainly along the coast and offshore today, then on the northern and southern coasts tonight, issued elsewhere.

Temperatures peak for most of the country today at 82 degrees Fahrenheit and 68 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures are 70 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 67 degrees inland, and 62 degrees in the hills.

Winds are from the north to northwest at 5 to 15 knots and the sea state is choppy.

Tides will be high at 11:52 this morning and 11:09 tonight and low at 4:49 this afternoon. The sun sets at 5:31 this evening and rises at 6:24 Wednesday morning.

The extended forecast for Wednesday is partly cloudy skies with only isolated showers.
