By Aaron Humes: 329 cases were reported in Belize City over the three days covered in the daily COVID-19 report, another unwanted record.

In all 419 cases were reported in mainland Belize District including 26 in Ladyville. San Pedro Town reported 99 cases in total or 33 per day on average.

In Cayo 307 new cases were reported including 59 in Belmopan, 48 in Benque Viejo and 112 between the Twin Towns.

Orange Walk Town reported 70 of the district’s 131 new cases; Corozal Town 42 of 91; Dangriga 41 and Independence/Placencia 29 of 103 in Stann Creek along with 15 in Hopkins; and Punta Gorda Town 14 of 31 in the Toledo District.

The mainland Belize District has passed 12 thousand total cases with Cayo approaching 7,500; Orange Walk nearly 5,000; Stann Creek nearly 4,800; Corozal just past 3,000; Toledo past 2,500 and San Pedro approaching 2,000.
